SM GenSan Little Bangkok; Sneak Peek!

The first thing that pops out our mind when we are being asked how do you find the taste of Thai food? It's tasty, spicy and healthy. Well, definitely it is. Aside from mentioned, it has also a very unique taste that no other country has. I liked how they combined flavors and have it in a more innovative and creative dish.

Honestly, it was my first time to try it last week during their food tasting session and I was a bit amazed how delicious some foods are and others has really this unknown punch of taste yet I find all the fundamental taste of food in a very well balance cuisine. I'm starting to loved all; leaving my poor tongue stunned for the rest of the night.

Thai cuisine blends five fundamental tastes: sweet, spicy, sour, bitter and salty. Some common ingredients used in Thai cuisine include garlic, chillies, lime juice, lemon grass, and fish sauce. The staple food in Thailand is rice, particularly jasmine variety rice (also known as Hom Mali rice) which is included in almost every meal. Thailand is the world's largest exporter of rice, and Thais domestically consume over 100 kg of milled rice per person per year.

I really don't know how to act on my first impression since the one who designed the restaurant is a friend of mine so I assumed that the place wise, it's beautiful and cozy. While in there, though they haven't open yet the restaurant, I was quite starstruck how they combined such unique interiors and how creative it was to see re-invent materials from junks yet still everything looks classy.

Sawadee ka!” meaning, “Hello!” is the first Thai word Rain taught me and I guess that would be their hostess might say as you walk in the door starting on their opening. For me, a smile could be the best respond greeting for them. Once seated, it was like ooww! really? Instead of seeing normal silver spoon and fork; a woody designed is placed. This is another place that everyone should look forward to visit and try.

Their comfort room is actually my fave part. I loved the interior, the bike and small bowl. LOL haha
