Mindanao Cyber Expo - GenSan Leg, Successfully Held!

General Santos City - The recently concluded 2-day GenSan leg event last July 12 and 13, 2014 of Mindanao Cyber Expo was successfully attended by numerous online gaming enthusiasts; not to mention, a great number of anime fanatics and cos-players were there to celebrate too.

The event was divided into two parts, which are the Pre-events and the Grand Finals. The pre-events were held in different participating SM Malls in Mindanao, namely, SM City General Santos, CDO and Lanang in Davao City. Winners during the pre-events will then advance to the Grand Final game to be held at SM Lanang. 

League of Legends, Counter Strike, HON, Yu-Gi-Oh and Hereos of Newerth are just some of the games played during the semi elimination round. Participants are not purely from GenSan only, but there were a lot of players who joined from nearby communities and provinces. The event was graced by Councilor Dominador S. Lagare III, a representative from LGU General Santos City. 

Aside from the inline tournaments set by the organizers, everyone was entertained by different groups of anime geeks with their lovely sing-and-dance productions. The event was cap with awarding of prizes and naming of people who will travel to Davao to vie for the Grand Finals on July 25 and 26, 2014.
