Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) and Cebu Pacific Air are set to revolutionize travel in the Philippines with the launch of CEB Connect and the addition of new flight routes. These initiatives mark significant advancements in Cebu's connectivity and convenience for both local and international travelers.

Streamlining Travel with CEB Connect

Aboitiz InfraCapital GMR Megaworld Cebu Airport Corporation (AGMCAC), the operator of MCIA, launched CEB Connect last June 19, 2024, a cutting-edge initiative aimed at making MCIA a premier tourism and transfer hub. The program promises to reduce transfer times, improve passenger comfort, and set a new standard for airport transfers in the Philippines.

CEB Connect's Phase 1 focuses on local destination connections, with a projected minimum transfer time of 35 minutes for domestic-to-domestic flights. Following its success, Phase 2 will launch in three months, facilitating international connections with a projected minimum transfer time of 60 minutes.

Enhancing Cebu’s Connectivity

Cebu City, a strategic center in the Philippines, is bolstered by MCIA's extensive network of 12 international destinations served by 15 foreign carriers, and 28 local destinations with 5 local carriers. This initiative enhances MCIA’s role as a vital stopover, promising a seamless travel experience.

Cebu Pacific Air's Expansion
