World Of Frozen: My Day in Arendelle at Hong Kong Disneyland
As a huge Frozen fan, stepping into the World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland felt like stepping straight into my favorite movie. When I was planning this visit, the World of Frozen was at the top of my list, it was the ultimate dream to visit Arendelle in person!
Before I even set foot in Disneyland, I knew I’d be fully embracing my inner Frozen fan. My ticket proudly displayed Anna’s face, and I had an entire Frozen ensemble to match the vibe. I had Marshmallow as my shoulder pal, a little Olaf coin bag slung across, and I dressed in white as a nod to Anna (with a few Disney character patches thrown in for good measure). My outfit was more than just clothes; it was my tribute to the world of Frozen.
Walking into World of Frozen felt surreal. It was like stepping into a place I knew by heart but was seeing for the first time. I spotted Arendelle Castle in the distance, with its towers and spires gleaming.
The waterfall I’d seen so many times in the movie was right there in front of me, just as enchanting as I’d imagined. Every detail, from the village charm to the icy touches, captured the magic that makes Frozen feel like home. My inner child was over the moon, it was familiar yet breathtakingly new.
There was so much to experience, but I decided to kick things off with Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. I had no idea what to expect, but that high-speed coaster ride took me by surprise! It may have been a short ride, but I was screaming the whole time. It was thrilling and had me grinning ear-to-ear by the end.
Next up was the Playhouse in the Woods, where the magic of Elsa’s ice powers came alive. It’s an interactive show that brought the characters I love right before my eyes, with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf all making an appearance to share their story. I found myself lost in the joy of the moment, fully captivated.
Then came my favorite part: the Frozen Ever After boat ride. It was like floating through the story I knew by heart, complete with scenes and songs that hit right in the feels. From gentle moments to a few thrilling boat plunges, it was everything I loved about Frozen, wrapped up in a journey that made my heart race and my inner child smile.
Even though I couldn’t see every corner of Arendelle, my time at the World of Frozen was everything I’d hoped for and more. I’m already dreaming of going back to explore even more.
