Sox Bloggers celebrates World Social Media Day 2013!

Last Sunday the 30th of June, SOCCSKSARGEN Bloggers came to celebrate Social Media Day at Blugre, SM GenSan in celebration of Mashable's 3rd annual Social Media Day after being launched way back 2010. For the 1st time Sox Bloggers hosted World Social Media Day in GenSan. Headlining the use of social media platforms that affects our lives as the way we use it like for business or just for socialization, however, this event merely focuses on people rather than on business. With the massive digital revolution that's rocking today with the central theme, "Let’s move #fwdPH", Social Media Day set out to bring together netizens together across the nation both on online and offline.

GBG SEA Mohd Hadi Shafie Awang Othman led the opening of Social Media Weekend via YouTube. Sox Bloggers head Avel Manansala welcomed all bloggers, social media users and enthusiasts. An Ateneo De Davao University teacher Kevin Olmedo discussed the State of Social Media in the country at Social Media Day GenSan.

Social Media Day event in GenSan tackles more on social responsibilities of the people and how does social media became a useful tool that affect blogging industry and bloggers to their readers through a forum; emphasizing social media as a powerful innovation of today's evolving technology.

After the said event conducted at Blugre, SM GenSan; Sox Bloggers headed to Giligans resto at the newly open Veranza Mall for a grand dinner party. Extended celebration.
