Dreaming of a wide expanse of endless white sands, exquisite turquoise waters, extreme water sports activities, wide selection of delightful food and stunning panoramic sceneries? Gear up as you can have them all in one beautiful place, the world famous Pearl Farm Beach Resort.

Together with my team, we headed over to the beautiful paradise that is Pearl Farm for a quick midweek overnight stay, but it wasn’t really a “stay” as we were there to shoot another episode of #ExploreDavao – a campaign we are doing to promote the magnificent Davao City to the world.

From Chateau del Mar Resort & Spa in Davao, we took a lazy boat ride to Pearl Farm. The view is great and get ready to be mesmerized by the clean blue sea and Samal’s beautiful coastline. Often times, if you are lucky enough, you get to watch wild dolphins playing around.

After an almost hour boat ride, the enchanting beauty of Malipano Island welcomed us!  Malipano is a small and very exclusive island owned by Pearl Farm. It greets you with the warmest of welcomes before docking at Pearl Farm Beach Resort which is situated just right behind it.

Set against a backdrop of lush tropical trees is an elegantly designed resort armed with the iconic Samal suites (Nipa Huts). And positioned in the middle of the resort is the Parola bar, which serves as the resort’s dock as well and a few steps further will take you to Pearl Farm’s infinity pool.

Upon docking, the resort staff are there to hand out welcome drinks with Kulintang music on the background. Our luggages were directly delivered to our room and sure enough, we got to stay at the Malipano Island, though it requires another boat transfer from Pearl Farm.

And since we arrived late at the beach and it was nearly sundown, we didn’t get the chance to tour around the place.  Instead we hopped into a small speed boat that transported us to Malipano Island. Our home for the next days was a 3 -storey villa that would normally cost P48k for an overnight stay during weekdays and P52K on weekends.  A total of 10 to 15 heads can stay in that one villa.

We settled in the villa before heading back to Pearl Farm for our dinner.  We certainly did not expect to have special feast, a boodle fight presentation of the best food Pearl Farm has to offer.

For regular bookings, breakfast is the only meal included. Hence, you have to pay for your lunch and dinner at the Maranao Restaurant, which has a very homey feel with a great view of the infinity pool and the sea beyond

The memories of our stay in Pearl Farm are truly good for the books. Watch the official vlog below to see what we did!
