CONNECTED GenSan: Plaza Heneral now a Free Wifi Zone

Plaza Heneral Santos is now a WiFi Zone, bringing the internet free to all Generals through the initiative of the Local Government Unit in collaboration with PLDT Home and SMART.

Although WIFi is still on its demo stage for the next 6 months with 1GB bandwidth being provisioned up to a max 500 users only per day for the meantime; yet it can unbelievably perform a speed of what's showing on the image below.

Amazing right? So when you need to access free wifi while out and about, there's one good place to go - Plaza Heneral Santos.

Indeed, this is truly a historical milestone as Plaza Heneral is the first public park in the Philippines to have a free access to wifi, and it's powered by the leading network, SMART!
